Outline of Research at the Start

低出生体重(LBW)は、生活習慣病をはじめとする成人後の疾患発症のリスク因子であり、LBWを改善し疾患発症リスクを減らすことが重要な課題である。本研究では母体治療によるLBW予防は児の成人期疾患発症予防に有効か評価する。具体的には、モデル動物を用いて、タダラフィルでの母体治療による①LBW児分娩の予防効果と児の成長への影響、②児が将来妊娠したときの妊娠合併症発症予防効果、③児の将来の生活習慣病発症リスクに対する予防効果、④児が将来妊娠出産した後年の生活習慣病発症リスクに対する予防効果を評価する。
