Outline of Research at the Start

Outline of Final Research Achievements
This study was conducted after approval by the Ethics Committee. The study included gynecological surgery cases for which informed consent was obtained for participation. We collected endometrial tissue from the uterus removed during surgery. We isolated single glands and successfully established endometrial organoids derived from individual glands. We used the CRISPR-Cas9 method to induce KRAS G12V and PIK3CA E545K mutations in the DNA of normal endometrial organoids; however, off-target effects were observed.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
