| Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究では環境因子の一つである，妊娠期や授乳期の母体の栄養状態が新生児の呼吸調 節機構の発達に与えるメカニズムを呼吸神経回路の機能的・構造的変化に着目して解析する。本研究の結果，SIDS発症に寄与する因子とそのメカニズムが明らかとなり，SIDSの病態解 明とその予防法確立に大きく寄与する。

| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
高タンパク食，普通食の2条件で飼育した母体より出征した仔の発育状態，死亡率を解析した。先行研究と同条件で飼育したところ顕著な差が見られず，複数の飼育条件を検討したところ，交配1ヶ月前より飼料を変更したところ，高タンパク食では生後16日目で死亡率が有意に高く，体重も低かった。

先行研究で使用されているものと異なる系統の動物を使用しているため，実験条件の再検討が必要になったため，進行に遅れが生じている。

飼育条件が決定したので，新生仔の窒息状態からの回復過程を解析する予定である。
