| Outline of Research at the Start |
文部科学省は医療的ケア児の教育の充実を図るため、全ての学校における看護師配置の拡充を目指している。また、医療的ケア児支援法成立等により、今後、特別支援学校だけではなく地域の小・中学校における医療的ケア児が増加すると予想される。本研究では、養護教諭と医療的ケアを行う看護師の連携の必要性に注目し、医療的ケア児が在籍する学校における養護教諭と看護師による支援の実態と、養護教諭と看護師の連携の実態・課題について調査する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this study is to clarify the support provided by Yogo teachers and nurses to children who require medical care, the actual state of collaboration and cooperation, and the factors that cause difficulties in collaboration. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with six Yogo teachers working at special needs schools in A prefecture where children who require medical care are enrolled, and five nurses who provide support to children who require medical care at special needs schools in the same prefecture, and the results were analyzed qualitatively and descriptively. The results revealed that school nurses and nurses cooperate and cooperate while demonstrating and respecting each other's expertise, and factors related to the school organizational structure influence smooth collaboration and cooperation. The results suggest the need for a system that allows nurses to work as part of the school organization in order to achieve better collaboration and cooperation.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
本研究から得た新たな知見として、養護教諭と看護師の連携・協働には、両者間のみならず医療的ケア児を取り巻く他の関係者との関係性が影響を与えており、支援の全体像を意識することの重要性が窺えた。また、近年の法整備に伴い医療的ケア児の教育の場も拡大しているが、学校において医療的ケア児を受け入れるための支援体制の不十分さや、看護師の業務の曖昧さ等の課題が明らかとなった。医療的ケア児が安心して学校で教育を受けるためには、養護教諭と看護師が円滑に連携・協働することが重要であり、今後学校に通う医療的ケア児の増加が予想される中で、本研究の結果は医療的ケア児への支援体制構築の基盤づくりの一助となると考える。
