Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、薬物依存症者の家族を対象にしたインタビュー調査により、依存症者と物理的・心理的距離を置くことに関連して、新たに形成される「家族観」およびその形成に影響する因子を多角的・多面的に検討することにより、薬物依存症者の家族支援における新しい知見を得ることを目指すものである。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は、薬物依存症者の家族が依存症者と心理的・物理的な距離を置こうとするときに、その心に生じる「家族とはこうあるもの」という家族観の揺らぎや葛藤に焦点をあてるものである。2023年度においては、研究の対象者となる「薬物依存症者の家族」のコミュニティにアクセスし、そこで話を聴くなどのフィールドワークを主に行った。
また、「依存症者の家族」をキーワードに検索した文献検討を行い、依存症者を家族に持つ人たちの抱く困難やその姿の描かれ方について考察を行った。

Reason

2022年度までの新型コロナウイルス感染症の影響による研究対象者へのアクセスの困難による遅れに加え、2023年度では研究分担者の死去により、研究体制の見直しが必要となったこともあり、研究の進行は大幅に遅れている。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

新たに開拓しつつあるネットワークを使い、研究対象者へのアクセスを図る。また、新たな研究分担者として、社会学者をメンバーに加える。
