本研究は心肺運動負荷試験による運動能力評価，体組成分析，万歩計による運動量，摂取栄養量，血液検査での栄養指標が治療開始から術後1年までにどのように変化するかを明らかにする．目的は，胸部食道癌手術患者の手術侵襲からの経時的な回復具合を検討し，外来でのリハビリテーション介入や栄養介入の現状での効果を明らかにすることにより，課題を抽出し、積極的な介入を要する群および介入方法をも明らかにすることである．
