Outline of Research at the Start

男性の性機能障害には勃起障害や射精障害などが含まれ、性機能障害は生活の質（QOL）を著しく低下させている。そのなかで男性生殖器疾患の治療に伴う前立腺癌治療後の勃起障害や生活習慣病に関連する勃起障害は大きな課題となっている。
そこで、本研究ではラット勃起障害モデルに再生医療を用いて、その有効性とメカニズムを検討して勃起機能を改善させる治療法を開発することを目的とする。
