Outline of Research at the Start

リマニュファクチャリング(リマン)の社会普及は、サーキュラーエコノミーの実現、社会の省資源・省エネ、製造業の付加価値向上に必須である。本研究はリマン普及の障害要因の一つであるリマンの市場受容性(非受容性)に焦点を当て、リマンの受容性分析を進展させる。また独立テーマとしてリマンの製品モニタリングデータ活用の基本モデルを提案者間の協働で構築する。

Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study analyzed consumers' acceptances of remanufactured products. Through the analyses, it aimed at identifying barriers to the promotion of circular economy and explored effective measures for overcoming these barriers. We analyzed consumers' acceptances of remanufactured electric vehicle batteries and smartphones. One of the results revealed that the influence of consumers' "environmental awareness" on their "purchase intention of remanufactured products" is not direct but rather mediated through "environmental effects," "price," and "environmental certification" as mediating variables. We discussed the policy and business implications of the finding. Additionally, regarding the influences of "information intervention" on "purchase intention," it was revealed that combining infographic information with consumer orientation work together, they produce a synergy effect, resulting in more impact than expected if they were considered separately.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

リマンの市場受容分析を通じて、サーキュラー・エコノミーの推進に対する障害要因の抽出と障害要因解消の方策検討を実施した。また日本の消費者を対象としたWebアンケートに基づく受容分析に加えて、ドイツ、アメリカでの調査を通じた比較分析も行った。さらに国内およびドイツ、アメリカの研究者との協働、各国の関連企業の訪問と意見交換も行い、国際的な研究連携と産学連携を推進した。成果として発表した4報の国際誌論文の中で、特に3報のEV蓄電池のリマン製品の市場受容分析の論文は、EVの受容性とEV蓄電池のサーキュラー・エコノミー対応推進に関わる先駆的な研究であり、関連する論文はその後大きく増加した。
