Outline of Research at the Start |
本研究は、教育研究で広く援用される学術研究と学習評価尺度関連研究をシステマティックレビューに基づき、STEAM(Science, Technology, Engineering, Art・Liberal Arts, Mathematics)学習経験尺度を提案する。具体的には高等教育機関のSTEAM教育プログラムを対象に、その学習経験を業績と成果、感情的/心理的刺激などの直接的な学習経験と間接学習経験に分け測定する。各項目の信頼性/妥当性分析にSTEAM教育経験がある各分野の学生から量的質的データを収集し、学習経験尺度の完成を目指す。本研究は、統合的STEAM 教育経験評価への実証的研究に挑む。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
As a first year, to establish a foundation of this research project, we focused on fundamental research in accordance with ongoing research to broaden our knoweldge. In line with my educational setting, we conducted extensive literature review to develop a questiannaire studys in domestic and global area with cooperation of co-researchers. We published 6 international journal papers and conference proceedings and preparing for more publication in upcoming years.

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
I expected active international cooperations with educators and researchers in overseas, however, due to strict Covid regulation in the higher educational institutions in Japan, Korea and China in FY 2022, we utilized online tools for discussions. We expect more dynamic interaction among global educators from upcoming years.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
We are designing a questionnaire items to conduct a survey among educators to fulfil our research goal. Data collection will be finished in the first half of this fiscal year. We will prepare for writing a conference paper with initial results and further develope to establish a valid assessment method.
