Outline of Research at the Start

重力波観測で確認された中性子星-ブラックホール連星合体の量子シミュレーション実現に向け、実験の理論提案、および、数値シミュレーションからその妥当性を検証する。具体的には、冷却原子気体のボース・アインシュタイン凝縮体による遷音速ブラックホールを、中性子物質と類似するユニタリーフェルミ気体で実現させる。遷音速領域における量子ダイナミクスを明らかにし、実験が実現された暁に期待される現象の知見を示す。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

今年度は、昨年度に引き続き量子混合原子気体の非平衡現象や多体物性の理論研究を推進した。冷却原子気体系で実現される非エルミートp波フェルミ原子気体超流動を理論的に調べた。非エルミートフェルミ超流動の先行研究の多くは2体ロスの研究に留まっており、本研究はp波Feshbach共鳴において大きな問題となる3体ロスの下での超流動安定性を明らかにしたものである。近年実験で実現されている1次元系に着目し、p波散乱長および有効レンジに関する相図を示し、p波フェルミ超流動実現にはp波有効レンジの絶対値を小さくする必要があることを明らかにした。この知見を元にp波フェルミ超流動が冷却原子気体実験で実現されれば、中性子星内部のp波超流動の量子シミュレーションの実現が期待できる。
また、冷却原子気体で実現されるボースポーラロン描像を元に、希薄核物質の模型として考えられるアルファ粒子と中性子の混合系の性質を調べた。中性子-アルファ粒子間のp波相互作用により中性子の有効質量が著しく増加し、真空では非束縛なダイニュートロンがアルファ粒子の存在下において束縛状態へ変わり得ることを示した。本研究成果は、中性子星中の核物質と冷却原子気体の新たな類似性を提示したものであるといえる。加えて、有効質量が大きくなる状況ではフラットバンド超伝導でみられるような対形成揺らぎと粒子正孔揺らぎの競合が発現すると考えられる。
上記に加えて、冷却原子気体や中性子星におけるスピン輸送やハドロン・クォーククロスオーバーの微視的理論の研究を進め論文を投稿中である。

Reason

本年度の研究成果により中性子星内部の核物質や冷却原子気体の輸送現象や多体物性の知見を蓄積することができた。トンネル輸送の手法を活かすことで中性子星内部の輸送現象への応用もより見通しが良い状況にある。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

非平衡グリーン関数法を用いて中性子星内部および類似した物性系の輸送現象を調べる。また、ボースアインシュタイン凝縮体がある元での輸送特性を記述する理論的枠組みを完成させる。
