Outline of Research at the Start

2017年、円軌道を持つ電子からの高次高調波放射が渦性を示す、つまりヘリカル波面を持つことが理論的に示された。電子サイクロトロン運動(ECM)は円運動の一種であるため、電子サイクロトロン放射(ECE)もヘリカル波面を持つことになる。ECEを含む現象は自然界に普遍的に存在しているにも関わらず、そのヘリカル波面を持つECEは今日まで観測されていない。そこで本研究ではヘリカル波面を持つECEを実験的に観測し応用することは可能か、ということを学術的「問い」に設定し研究を行う。
