Outline of Research at the Start

生体内でタンパクの品質管理を行っているヒートショックプロテイン90（HSP90）を標的とする脳PETイメージングを開発し、神経変性疾患の創薬や病態評価に役立てることを目指す。アルツハイマー病やレビー小体病のような神経変性疾患では、タウタンパクやアミロイドβタンパク、αシヌクレインなどの異常凝集・沈着が起こり、神経が障害される。HSP90は、アルツハイマー病におけるタウ凝集やレビー小体病におけるαシヌクレイン凝集に影響を及ぼしている。本研究では、HSP90を標的とする新たなPETリガンドを設計・合成し、脳内におけるHSP90密度を病態モデルの生体内で評価を行う。
