Outline of Research at the Start	早期食道癌に対する内視鏡治療は低侵襲かつ根治を望める有用な治療法である。一方で周在性の広い病変に対しての内視鏡治療は時として術後瘢痕狭窄を来たす。これは嚥下困難などを引き起こし、患者の生活の質を大きく低下させ、時には数十回にもわたる内視鏡的バルーン拡張術を要する。本研究では、狭窄を予防するステロイドが徐放される組織接着性ハイドロゲルを中型動物の食道に投与し、狭窄予防効果を確認していく。
Outline of Annual Research Achievements	今年度は学会に多く参加し、情報収集を精力的に行なった。第２３回日本再生医療学会総会では、シンポジウム「ティッシュエンジニアリング技術を利活用した再生医療の実際」にて発表を行い、活発な討議によって、新たな研究の着想を得ることができた。そのほかにもアメリカで行われたIADRに参加し、口腔内扁平上皮の再生に関する研究の最新の知見を得た。
