Outline of Research at the Start

本研究ではSMARCA4-UTの症例集積によりその臨床像を明らかにするとともに、SMARCA4-UTの癌オルガノイドを利用したドラッグスクリーニングにより、有望な前臨床試験のデータを確立する。SMARCA4-UT癌オルガノイドの樹立は世界で初めての報告であり、SMARCA4-UTの病態を反映しうる実験モデルである。本モデルを用いた研究により、SMARCA4-UTの治療法の開発やSWI/SNF複合体と癌化メカニズムの解明などにつながる、豊かな創造的資源になる。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

SMARCA4-undifferentiated tumor(SMARCA4-UT)のヒト臨床検体からのオルガノイド培養による細胞株樹立を引き続き、試みている。前回報告時より、新たに2症例の検体でオルガノイド培養を試みたが、オルガノイド細胞株の樹立には至らなかった。他癌種ではオルガノイド細胞株の樹立に成功しており、作成条件の見直しなどを行っていく。また臨床疫学研究として、SMARCA4-UTの臨床情報の収集と免疫療法への効果、予後などについて臨床情報の集積に努めていく。
