Outline of Research at the Start

移植医療においては圧倒的なドナー臓器不足により、移植待機人数と実施件数の間に大きな解離が生じている。当研究室では、移植可能なヒトiPS細胞由来の臓器様構造体（オルガノイド）を人為的に再構成する方法の開発に成功した。ヒトiPS細胞由来の肝臓オルガノイドの組織構造化に向けて、発生学に基づき類洞内皮前駆細胞様の細胞を用いることにより原始類洞構造や肝細胞索などの形成誘導を目指す。
