Outline of Research at the Start

唾液腺癌における融合遺伝子や体細胞変異などの分子プロファイルが徐々に明らかとなり、それらをターゲットとした個別化医療の有効性が報告されている。しかしながら非奏功例も同時に報告されており、in vitroで検証可能な培養モデルへの需要が高まっている。実際に薬剤投与が必要な症例の多くは切除不能であり、臨床応用のためには培養を生検や細胞診由来の微小腫瘍検体から行う必要がある。本研究ではがんオルガノイドを用いた薬剤効果予測モデルを臨床応用に近づけることを目的に、唾液腺癌の腫瘍増殖関連因子を同定し、微小検体からの培養プロトコールの確立を目指す。
