形成外科手術は患者のQOL(quality of life,生活の質)の維持・向上を目的としており、患者主観的評価（Patient-reported outcome, PRO）は重要であり、妥当性のあるPROを導入することが求められている。本研究の目的は形成外科領域の患者QOL向上のため、新規PRO尺度の日本語版開発と臨床研究の推進を行うことである。具体的には、頭頸部再建領域のPRO尺度であるFACE-Q Head and Neck Cancer module (FACE-Q H&N)、 BREAST-Q 新規尺度の日本語版開発、BREAST-Qを用いた乳癌術式の比較などを実施する。

| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
研究者はこれまでに乳房手術が患者に与える影響を評価するPatietn-reported outcome（PRO)尺度であるBREAST-Qを開発し、乳房再建患者の術後12ヶ月間の満足度とHRQOL（Health-related quality of life)を調査する多施設前向きコホート研究（SAQLA study)を実施した（平成29年度-令和2年度 平成AMED革新的がん医療実用化研究事業）。
しかし、乳房再建において長期的な結果は重要であり、SAQLA登録症例の長期的な経過観察が課題となっている。そのため、本年度はSAQLA studyの登録症例の術後36ヶ月までの経過観察を実施した。SAQLA studyで使用したEDCシステムViedocを用い、PRO調査（BREAST-Q,SF-8,Decision regret scale) を調査した。また、実施施設においては36ヶ月目までの合併症、整容性評価のための写真撮影を実施した。

今年度は乳房再建の臨床研究は推進できたが、頭頸部癌領域の手術を評価するFace-Q Head and Neck module日本語版の開発は進捗が得られなかった。

来年度は、①Face-Q Head and Neck module日本語版の開発と②SAQLA study 術後36ヶ月までの経過観察の解析、成果発表を実施する。
