Outline of Research at the Start

本邦における口腔腫瘍性病変（扁平上皮癌、前癌病変）患者は増加の一途を辿る一方で、未だ予後不良である。原因は口腔腫瘍性病変に対する腫瘍特異的因子が存在していないためである。本研究では、口腔腫瘍性病変表層に特異的に発現するタンパク質Xの機能と発現解析を行い、口腔腫瘍の分化機序の解明や、早期発見・早期治療を可能とする新規腫瘍マーカーの発見につながる知見を得る。
