This study first seeks the best policy practice, which is the most effective in saving lives and protecting the economies and tourism industries. Second, it finds strategies to revitalize tourism demand. Finally, it develops tourism management and business models to harmonize tourism demand-supply.

Impacts of Covid-19 on Long-haul Travel Demand: A case study in Japan (under preparation). In addition, I am communicating with local governments and stakeholders in some areas to arrange surveys.

3: Progress in research has been slightly delayed.
Reason
I have communicated with local governments successfully and prepared for the survey this year July-August 2024. It is expected that the survey can be completed to proceed with the study.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
An analysis with a secondary data for the paper has been ready for the paper. The paper will be completed in coming time. Regarding the survey, I have communicated with some local governments and local stakeholders for the arrangement of the survey. The survey is expected to be proceeded in July to August this year.
