経済成長を前提とした20世紀型の社会の限界が明らかになり、地球環境と地域社会の持続可能な発展が喫緊の課題となる今日、身近な資源に基づく暮らしを再生するための「事物連関型デザイン知性」の開発が求められる。地域資源を活かした暮らしと伝統知が今も残る里山であり、先進的な地域社会と自然環境の再生が行われている千葉県鴨川市釜沼集落をフィールドとして、本研究は暮らしをとりまく事物のつながりを再発見・再縫合するデザイン教育の実験を行う。その成果を里山保全活用マニュアルにまとめ、里山を社会教育の資源として利活用する理論的・実践的な基礎を築くことで、本研究は脱産業的な21世紀型のデザイン教育への転回に貢献する。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The large scale gap that lies between global environmental issues and the specificity of each architectural design cannot be bridged by the space oriented design intelligence that has promoted industrialization during the 20 century, while making the network of things invisible in the shadow of expansion and growth. would be inevitably reconsidered. This hypothesis led us to organize the Satoyama School of Design and the Resourceful Human Meeting, which is proactively contribute to Satoyama Revitalization in Kamanuma Kita village, Kamogawa City, Chiba Prefecture, to develop a network oriented design intelligence that re-suture the connection between local things and lifestyles by understanding village issues and learning from traditional knowledge and the law of nature. The drawings and academic papers reflecting the school program developed the germ of architectural behaviorology and actor network theory in order to establish a new critical language of architectural design.

身体―道具―環境の連関を、農作業、環境整備、森林整備、材料調達、建設の区別なく連続的に体感しうる里山をフィールドにした教育プログラムを開発するとともに、空間型デザイン知性のもと組み立てられた建築批評言語を相対化する事物連関型デザイン知性の建築批評言語を開発したこと。里山スクールオブデザインの開催により、里山再生に必要な関係人口に建築学生を呼び込み、再生ビジョンを議論し、実践するメンバーシップを農村住民と都市住民のハイブリッド型にするとともに、里山という環境を建築の新しいデザイン知性や批評言語を開発するフィールドとして再発見したこと。
