Outline of Research at the Start

次世代トポロジカル量子計算に必須のマヨラナ準粒子を実現できる系として、超伝導体とトポロジカル絶縁体の人工超格子薄膜が注目されている。これに対し本研究は、鉄系超伝導体を高温超伝導層とトポロジカル絶縁層の自然超格子物質として新規開拓することを目的とする。本系ではマヨラナ粒子の高温化に加え、熱輸送測定による検出が可能になると期待される。そこで、元素置換によるキャリア濃度の精密制御を行い、得られた最適物質においてマヨラナ粒子特有の熱伝導・熱ホール効果を実証する。これにより、多彩なマヨラナ粒子を実現できる物質の設計法を確立することを目指す。
