Outline of Research at the Start

Outline of Final Research Achievements
Detailed analyses have advanced significantly regarding pathogenicity and antibiotic resistance factors of bacteria causing problems in clinical settings. However, scientific validation and evaluation systems addressing future-oriented questions such as "How might these pathogenic bacteria evolve and pose clinical challenges in the future?" have not yet been established. In this study, we successfully developed a method termed Rapid and Integrated Bacterial Evolution Analysis (RIBEA). This method involves creating an accelerated evolutionary model of pathogenic bacteria that rapidly increases genetic mutation rates, allowing us to observe and elucidate the patterns of bacterial adaptation, pathogenic evolution, and multidrug resistance development within one month.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
