Outline of Research at the Start |

Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This research takes up the new poetry material of Waka, which composed in the Kokinshu period. And attempts to demonstrate the diversity in the formation of the new poetry materials by empirically examining the process of their formation. 1, I had taken up the new poetry material of the white moonlight, and examined the process of its formation. The results were presented at the Wakan Comparative Literature Association. 2, I had picked up the new poetry material of white chrysanthemum, and examined the process of its formation. The results were presented at the Japan Literary Research Association. 3, I also tackled the new poetry material of tempest, researched the etymology and usage of the word by tracing it back to ancient and Chinese literature, starting with Kariya ekisai in the Edo period, and presented the results three times at The minato.
