本研究は、ディアスポラ集団が「想像の故国」を共有しながらホスト社会の中で居場所を求めて生きてきた現実を前提として、さらに彼らの一部が「故国」に再移住することによって「二重のディアスポラ」となっている事例に着目して、グローバル化以降にエスニック・アイデンティティの変容の実態を考察する。二重ディアスポラは人口移動の自由化にともなって事例が増えつつあるが、本課題では、旧ソ連地域のコリアン・ディアスポラ（コリョ・サラム）の韓国への再移住に焦点を当てる。グローバル化以降の21世紀に特徴的な二重ディアスポラ論の事例研究を通じて、国際的な多文化共生研究への寄与をめざす。

| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study focuses on Koryo Saram, Korean diaspora in the former Soviet Union regions, and examines the transformation and fluidity of the ethnic identity of diasporas who have re-migrated to their homeland. The potential for international multicultural coexistence is also explored, and the following three points are specifically addressed. First, this study presents a chronological analysis of the fundamental structure of the factors that prompted Koryo Saram to migrate to South Korea. Second, the patterns of their migration are clarified and the specific characteristics associated with it highlighted. Lastly, this study covers the social integration of the Koryo Saram in the host society, considering the increased migration of Koryo Saram to South Korea and formation of residential areas with high concentrations of Koryo Saram, and presents the possibilities for international multicultural coexistence.

歴史的故国に再移住したコリョ・サラムを事例とした本研究は、コリアン・ディアスポラの類型に対する総合的な理解に寄与し、他のディアスポラ再移住研究に比較時点を提供し、コロナ後世界の多文化社会に対する理解の底辺拡大に寄与したことで学術的な意味がある。また、故国に再移住し二重のディアスポラとなっている集団のエスニック・アイデンティティの変容についての最新の知見は、マジョリティによる統合の対象とみなされてきたディアスポラ的議論に対して、さらにはディアスポラ研究へも新たな視座を提供するだけでなく、多様化かつ複合化する多文化共生研究において新たな理論形成に貢献することで学術的及び社会的意味をもつ。
