Outline of Research at the Start

Outline of Final Research Achievements

With the aim of elucidating the mechanism of action of psychotherapy, Study 1 used data from a clinical trial of remote cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia to create a corpus containing outcome data, Th treatment compliance data, video, audio, and verbatim data, etc., and Study 2 used outcome data in the corpus, Study 2 used outcome data from the corpus to examine differences in linguistic characteristics between insomniacs with and without comorbid depression. The results showed that although there were no differences in the use of first-person pronouns or the length of utterances, which have been pointed out in previous studies, there was a diversity of topics in the group with concomitant depression. In the future, we plan to examine the patterns of change in outcomes based on data from multiple modalities.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
