Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的はL関数の諸々の先行研究や問題を、確率論的極限定理の収束性から理解できる理論を作ることである。L関数の値分布はLindelof 予想を背景に、零点分布やL関数に対応する数論的対象に対して重要な応用をもつ。本研究ではL関数の値分布に関する3つのテーマ、「L関数 のモーメント」、「極大点評価」、「稠密性定理」に焦点を当て研究を進める。これらは確率論的極限定理の「大偏差」、「誤差付き評価」と 呼ばれる極限定理の収束性と密接に関係していることが、近年の研究で明らかにされている。この事実を背景として、本研究ではL関数に対す る確率論的極限定理を調べる。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度では、昨年度までに行った研究に関する論文執筆、それと並行してRiemannゼータ関数の並行移動についての確率論的性質およびRiemannゼータ関数の零点分布の研究を進めた。
Riemannゼータ関数の並行移動についての研究は、虚部方向への複数の並行移動を行い、それぞれの並行移動を施した関数たちの同時分布を考え、その漸近挙動を考察した。Riemannゼータ関数の虚部方向についての挙動は、Lindelof予想を背景として重要な研究対象であり、素数分布、零点分布と深い関係性がある。前述の同時分布は、小さい虚部の情報が、大きな虚部の情報をもつかを調べる研究であり、Lindelof予想の研究に新しい知見を与えるものである。本研究は現状では今後の方針の原案を作成しており、その原案を基に共同研究者のPankowski氏と議論を進めている状況である。
Riemannゼータ関数の零点分布については、昨年度に申請者が構築した零点分布を調べる手法を用いることで、研究を進めた。申請者はRiemannゼータ関数の偏角の値分布が、零点の分布に応用できることを明らかにし、30年以上不明だったSelbergが指摘した零点の間隔についての主張に証明を与えた。そして本年度ではRiemannゼータ関数の偏角の値分布の研究を進めることで、零点分布の研究を行った。具体的には、Tsangの偏角の極値評価をSoundararajanのresonance methodを用いることで改良し、ConreyとTuenage-Butterbaughによる零点のrギャップの結果を一部改良することに成功した。さらにこの手法を精密化することで、零点の間隔の現状の世界記録である、BuiとMilinovich、Preobrazhenskiiらの結果を改良し論文を完成させる予定である。
