Outline of Research at the Start	我々はこれまで腸管粘膜に豊富に存在する一方で、その機能が不明であったCD4-CD8-TCRαβ+ Double Negative T (DNT)細胞が、抗原提示細胞として上皮間をダイナミックに移動し、管腔へ突出して直接抗原を取り込み、アナジー誘導性の抗原提示を行うこと、本経路は腸炎抑制的でありクローン病の病態に関与することを発見した。今回の研究において、DNT細胞の研究を疾患レベル、臓器レベル、領域レベルで拡大する目的で東京医科歯科大学消化器病態学教室と、Harvard Medical School, von Andrian Labでの日米間国際共同研究を行う。
