Outline of Research at the Start

基課題で明らかにしてきたファンコニ貧血における複製ストレスを介したミトコンドリアの変容と疾患発症との関連をさらに理解するためにファンコニ貧血モデルマウスの詳細な解析の実施と並行して別の骨髄不全症モデルを用いた解析、患者検体を用いた解析を実施する。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

来年度の本格的な渡航に向けて2023年8月22,23,24日の3日間、St. Jude Children's Reserch HospitalのMckinney研究室および施設の見学をし、研究環境の状況を確認した。Mckinney研究室は基礎研究室であるものの、臨床研究室との共同研究によって鎌状赤血球症の患者検体データベースが整備されていることを認識した。また、Developmental hematology departmentに各種、造血研究に必要な実験動物施設、フローサイトメトリー等の機器が整っていることを確認した。ラボミーティングにも参加し、Mckinney教授やラボメンバーとのディスカッションも行い、鎌状赤血球症研究への理解を深めた。
