Outline of Research at the Start	最近の知見から、骨髄異形成症候群などの難治性貧血でおこる「無効造血」にはフェロトーシス（鉄介在性脂質酸化依存性の制御性細胞死）が関与することが示唆された。他方、悪性リンパ腫などの造血器悪性腫瘍ではフェロトーシスの感受性向上による細胞死誘導が治療オプションとなる。近年、内在性のフェロトーシス防御機構としてFerroptosis suppressor protein-1 （FSP1)-CoQ10経路が同定された。本研究では無効造血と悪性リンパ腫の両病態におけるフェロトーシスの関与を解析し、特にFSP1を標的とした新しい治療法の開発を目指す。
