Research Abstract |
This research has developed methodologies of area-informatics using data of health promotion activities in Northeast Thailand. During three years' research period, we have achieved the following results: Health Data Team (1) held training workshops about information literacy of database construction and GIS data creation for graduate students and nurses (2) reviewed data items, data attribute and data description methods and reconstructed databases. Data Analysis Team (1) introduced social networks (SN) to describe the relationship of persons and organizations in an area (2) attempted to use Topic Maps to visualize and analyze relationships described by SN. System Team (1) continued to construct the participatory database (MyDatabase) and collected case examples of databases using MyDatabase (2) also continued to construct spatio-temporal tools (HuTime and HuMap) and collected case studies using the tools.
