Research Abstract |
We have developed an algorithm for feeling analysis and conducted experiments. As well as brain waves, we employed some sensors to accomplish higher accuracy. For a horror game, heart rate is quite useful. Although we have been using six adjective pairs for evaluation based on questionnaires, we have introduced valence and arousal to evaluate emotion based on sensors. We use a genetic algorithm for composition, whose chromosome representation, operators and fitness function are important. By using symbiotic evolution, we have introduced motif structure to melody, and have investigated its effect, by which we have approached more sophisticated composition.
