Research Abstract |
Intracardiac flow reflects cardiac function. Flow velocity can be measured by Doppler echocardiography which has a limitation of Doppler angle dependency. Vector flow mapping is a new method to obtain flow velocity independent of flow direction. We calculated energy loss of intracardiac flow and clarified it reflected the severity of aortic regurgitation.
