Research Abstract |
In this work, we developed a cognitive apprenticeship environment for a research group where the novice researchers could systematically develop their skill in composing presentation documents in authentic research contexts. In particular, we provided them with typical semantic structure (called presentation schema) of presentation documents accumulated in the group as a scaffold for the document composition, and implemented the software technologies for them to gain their experiences with the schema.
