| Research Abstract |
We have achieved the research on the first hand materials of Minakata Kumagusu preserved in his Archives in Tanabe, Wakayama. We also organized the monthly research meetings in Tokyo and Kansai as well as a joint annual conference in Tanabe in every August. We have published as results, "Minakata Kumagusu and Asia" (2011), "Encyclopaedia on Minakata" (2012), "English essays of Minakata Contributed to Notes and Queries" (2014), etc., which we believe to provide the foundamental information to the research on Minakata in future.
