Research Abstract |
In this study, we have defined the testimony model comprising five steps, preparedsixteen types of testimonies containing different experience factors, showed one to each of our survey respondents, and asked each respondent if the testimony seemed acceptable to him or her. We performed thismail survey in Japan and Internet Survey in the United States through a research company panel. The significant results are that testimony containing ethical belief is easily accepted but containing super natural belief is hardly accepted, and that testimony with rhetoric is easily accepted but without rhetoric is hardly accepted. And any socio-democratic factors do not influence on acceptance.
