Research Abstract

本研究は，心理学，医学，工学，哲学が連携し，感覚間統合という現象から解離と呼ばれる精神病理の治療可能性までを研究対象としたトランスレーショナル研究である.精神医学領域では，統合失調症の一症状として，自己同一性を喪失する解離という精神病理が報告されており，自己意識に関わる「触知覚」の基本原理が深く関与している可能性がある．認知科学の中で蓄積されてきた感覚間統合の知見を元に，解離の精神病理学的メカニズムを脳機能画像法などの神経科学的手法を用いて解明し，最終的に臨床応用に役立てることを目的としている．本年度では，触感覚の錯覚が視覚的錯覚と連鎖的に生じるラバーハンド（RH）イリュージョン学習を3日間連続で行い，感覚間統合の錯覚学習における自己所有感と位置感覚の変容プロセスを検討した．その結果，全日において，学習後にRHへの自己所有感の増加および位置感覚のドリフトが認められ，従来のRHイリュージョンを再現する結果となったが，自己所有感のデフォルト評定値は日毎に低下し，位置感覚のデフォルト評定値は日毎に増加した．矛盾した感覚を引き起こす仮想現実的な環境では，RHを自身の手だと受容することは拒みながらも，位置感覚は視覚的RHに依存しながら変容していくことが示唆され，少なくとも，自己所有感と位置感覚の長期的学習メカニズムに異なる神経可塑性プロセスが関与していると考えられる（論文投稿中）．現在は脳機能画像分析法（functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging: fMRI）を用いた実験を開始し，分析中である．また本プロジェクトの着想に至るもととなった研究を論文化した．
