Research Abstract |
Quality of care for chronic kidney disease have wide variations. Measuring quality indicators may improve quality of care. In this study, we used RAND/UCLA appropriate method to construct quality indicators for chronic kidney disease. Expert panel members, including 10 specialists of chronic kidney disease, finally selected 11 indicators. Those quality indicators can be calculated by electronic health information (health insurance claim data and laboratory data) without chart review. We also develop the application which extract necessary data semi-automatically to measure quality of care for chronic kidney disease.
