Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To cultivate decision-making ability regarding the dispensing of pharmaceuticals, we have developed the following three step-by-step educational programs and methods for directly assessing performance: 1) A simulation program using a robot patient simulator for first aid treatment of asthma. Educational assessment: Simulation test using a simulator. 2) An online simulation program using moving image (E-PDE: e- Pharmaceutical decision exercise). This program won the E-learning award of the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare Prize. Educational assessment: Simulation test comprising a standard scenario. 3) An online virtual problem-based learning (E-PBL) program. Educational assessment: Assessment of the pharmaceutical care plan
