Research Abstract |
In this study, we developed a method of recognizing characters that received perspective distortion by shooting from an angle.(1)we developed a shape normalization method for character undergoing perspective distortions (2)we developed a character string recognition using linguistic knowledge for strings.The methods were applied to many images. As results, almost characters were recognized correctly.
