Research Abstract |
First, the reporter selected sophisticated and effective for engineering education origami models and made origami kits, sets of origami diagrams and origami papers. Next, I had a lot of lectures using these origami kits for high school students, administered questionnaires and improved them. I also created new models. I reported this research not only in the journal "Meeting of Origami Science, Math, and Education" hosted Japan Origami academy and Japan Origami Association Magazine but also in American, Indian, Hungarian and British Origami Society conventions. The final research, a origami textbook "Geometrical Modular Origami Teaching Material for Engineering Educations" was provided to high schools and used for the students. Moreover it was adopted as the official reference material of 6OSME, "the sixth International Meeting of Origami Science, Mathematics and Education" held at Tokyo University in this August.
