Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study aims to promote community based education through community based art projects held outside museums. We can call such projects The Third Type Art Exhibition. For example, an art project called School after School held in Hamada elementary school, shrines and shopping mall in Mito City for three years made it clear that school children grew up gentle and strong through this community based art project. In this series of one day educational program project, school children played their roll as a teacher to the adults participating in this program as a pupil. We researched several other community based art projects as well as this case study.
