Research Abstract |
The surface of the cast copper piece was heat treated and the result were then inspected.More then110 samples produced using sulfur to roughen the metal surface. About the procedure, different alloys, heating techniques, heating times, temperatures, chemical treatments and such were tested in order to achieve a stable coloring. The big result of this research was the acquisition of a specific, stable, red coloring of copper.
