Research Abstract

本研究の目的は、1980年代の大干ばつ以降、北西ケニア牧畜民トゥルカナに出現した、便秘を主症状とし、多様な症状を示す地域固有の慢性病「糞肛門」のマッサージ治療について地域比較をするものであった。しかし、昨年度の研究実施状況報告書に記したように、研究代表者である作道は、平成24年9月に北西ケニア地域で現地調査中に、急病となってしまい、それ以降、研究は中断している。本科研費は平成25年度より執行も止まっており、平成26年3月17日に廃止が承認された。
