Research Abstract |
There is a standard view that the study on the world law as a social science started after world war second in Japan. However, there were significant works at the interwar period. Especially at the early 1930's, Tanaka kotaro, who became the judge of international court of justice after world war second, published the notorious books named "The theory of World Law". At the same time, Tsuneto kyo who was a first professor of legal philosophy in Japan published some articles on the world law related to the economic and social considerations. In consequence, he formulated new theory relating to the world law based on social science at the interwar period.
