Research Abstract |
Employing both experimental and survey methods, the present study shed light on the following three aspects: (1) even when given implicitly, subliminal stimuli can have various effects on human cognition, emotion, and behavior; (2) such effects could greatly be changed subject to how the information is exposed (cumulatively or intensively) to the perceiver; (3) and such processes could become prominent in everyday anonymous situations, resulting in cyber-bullying behavior.
