| Research Abstract |
I took a part in a plastic art expression program at an elementary school in France (Ecole Saint Front, Periguex-city, Aquitaine State, Southwest France, 2006-2007). The purpose of this program was to create a touchable picture book for children with limited eyesight and blindness and to also increase students' abilities to understand one another and to coexist together.
As a part of this project, I compared and evaluated the results from field studies conducted both in Japan and in international organizations. As a result of this project research, it is my intention to propose a new possibility in early childhood plastic art education.
