Research Abstract |
The structural change of expanded selenium around the semiconductor - metal transition region was investigated. The X-ray scattering mesurements were performed by using high energy X-ray of SPring-8. The structural information upto 1600bar and 1600C could be successfully obtained. The three dimensional structural model was created with RMC modeling technique and it was precisely analysed. Especialy, the transition from helical-chain to zigzag-chain form of isolated Se chains was investigated.
