Research Abstract |
Investigation on the applicability of mercury-free light sources to water treatment was conducted. In result, inactivation per average irradiated UV energy by 222nm UV was greater than 254nm UV. Various injuries seemed to result in inactivation because 222nm UV irradiation did not cause photoreactivation. About application for advanced oxidation processes, removal rate of contaminants came to be able to calculated because decrease of hydrogen peroxide was proportional to absorbed UV energy.
