| Research Abstract |
An LC-MS/MS method wad developed for determination of 4 folate derivatives such as folic acid, tetrahydrofolate, 5-methyltetrahydrofolate and 5-folmyltetrahydrofolate in human whole blood. The method was enough sensitive to determine the folates in blood. The limit of detection were in the range of 0.13 nM-1.10 nM at signal-to-noise ratio of 3. Furthermore, the method could be successfully applied to determine the folate in healthy human blood.
