Research Abstract |
Recently, it has been reported that transcription factor Snail, protease ADAM10 and ADAM17 are participating in invasion and metastasis of cancer cell. The present study aimed at development of specific inhibitors of these proteins. We are successful to synthesis a new pyridine/cysteamine based zinc chelator equipped with 2-phenylquinoline or butynyl group for recognition of these proteins. Deprotection step of tert-butyl group is ongoing now.
